Greenfield Traffic Advisory: Rte 2

MAtraffic Advisory: Route 2 in Greenfield near the Gill town line, closed both directions for tanker truck crash w/ cargo spill. Motorists should seek alternate routes. Route 2 will be closed for most of the day.

Update 5:45 AM:
Due to downed power lines, road will be completely closed for approximately 8 hours. Seek alternate route.

Update 6:15 AM:
TT Unit traffic coming from I-91 wanting to head to Route 2 is being directed to exit 28A (Route 10 North) to Route 63 South, then to Route 2 East.

Update 6:25 AM:
Before power lines can be worked on, the tanker must be off-loaded.

Roadway now open. Cleanup continues.
